About this opportunity:
Ericsson is seeking a business leader to join our Global Customer Unit as a Key Account Manager (KAM) for the Nigeria Account, based in Lagos, Nigeria. This role oversees all customer business development, sales, delivery and operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Managing account profit and loss, cash flow, and working capital
• Ensuring customer satisfaction
The KAM will act with confident authority, taking accountability to foster business relationships while actively contributing to customer success and Ericsson's profitability. The success of this role depends on developing a deep understanding of both the customer's and Ericsson's operations and business objectives.
What you will do:
• Support in co-leading the Ericsson organization in Nigeria
• Develop Ericsson's thought leadership and relationships in Nigeria
• Engage the wider Ericsson organization in developing and executing a Key Account Strategy
• Drive and strengthen the relationship between Customer and Ericsson
• Drive profitable sales and develop new sales streams through proactive business development and strong account management
• Ensure quality and profitability in project delivery
• Lead and develop a stellar sales team
• Lead and orchestrate Ericsson teams for the best customer experience, business insights, and realization of value propositions
• Orchestrate collaborative teamwork across Ericsson (global customer unit, business areas, market areas, local units)
The skills you bring:
• Education: Master of Business Administration, Master of Science, or a similar degree
• 7+ years of sales account management, business development, and negotiations within the mobile industry
• 5+ years in a leadership position
• Previous experience in technical mobile domains (RAN, BSS, and Mobile Money)
• Business interactions with customers, with a deep understanding of their business, operations, and objectives
• Experience and cultural awareness in Africa
• Influential leadership, people, and change management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to enable teamwork and collaboration.
• Financial acumen and innovative, creative thinking
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Strong personal integrity and a high ethical standard
• Capability to address inappropriate behaviour and compliance issues.
• Excellent social and interpersonal skills
• Responsiveness and result orientation
