Environmental Laboratory Analyst

Requirements:- Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry or related field
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a laboratory environment.
- Ability to work with moderate supervision, strong attention to detail, good verbal and written skills, positive attitude, ability to work well with others, strong initiative, and willing to accept additional responsibilities.
- Strong and efficient verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt and drive change

Responsibilities: 5 years experience in operation of the following analytical instruments - Agilent 6890-5973N GC-MS, Agilent 5890 GC-FID and Varian SpectrAA AAS, Analysis of soil and water samples for TPH, BTEX, PAH and Heavy metals.
Must be able to provide a good analytical report
Must have the ability to work independently without supervision
Must have sound knowledge on calibration of GC-MSD, GC-FID and AAS using certified standard
