Responsibilities:Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans, and kitchen scalesEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen areaStudy each recipe and gather all the necessary ingredientsPrepare food on timeDelegate tasks to kitchen staffInform wait staff about daily specialsEnsure appealing plate presentationSlightly modify recipes to meet customers' needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)Monitor food stock, place orders and give regular updates to the management.Check the freshness of food and discard out-of-date itemsExperiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
