Responsibilities:The main role of an accountant is to collect,analyze, record and report the financial data of the school. Ensure that acompany complies with all the government rules and regulations. Also helps analyze financial data to make data-driven business decisionsRequirements:Strongknowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations in a similarroleProficiencyin using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-orientedwith a high level of accuracyStrongcommunication and interpersonal skills.Confidentin using Information Management Systems and able to learn new systems andprocesses quickly.Excellenttime management, prioritisation and organisational skills.Abilityto understand, interpretand communicate financial data at all levels of anorgansation.Soundknowledge of accounting standards.Excellentattention to detail.Maintainstrict confidentiality where appropriate.Stronginterpersonal skills with a clear focus on customer service.Qualification & Experience:Bachelor's degree in accounting or a relatedfield.Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, CIMA,ACCA or ACA, CPA) is strongly preferred.Proven 5 - 10 years experience as an Accountant,preferably in an educational institution.Proven experience in financial reporting and inthe preparation of management accounts, forecasts and statutory accounts.Remuneration: NGN200,000 -500,000 depending on experience.Relocation assistance available for the right candidate
