ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement engaging lesson plans that cover various aspects of government, including political theory, institutions, and processes.Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and enhance student understanding.Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through discussions, debates, and interactive activities.Assess student learning through quizzes, tests, and projects, and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, diversity, and civic responsibility.Collaborate with colleagues to integrate government studies into interdisciplinary projects and activities.Stay informed about current events and political developments to incorporate relevant topics into the curriculum.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Education, Political Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.State teaching certification or licensure in Government or Social Studies.Proven experience teaching government or related subjects at the secondary level.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Passion for education and a commitment to promoting civic engagement among students.Location:Rumuokwrushi, Port Harcourt
